Dr. Bibeau is a member of the UC National Laboratories (UCNL) senior scientific staff, with a focus on developing and enhancing strategic opportunities and collaborations among the UC enterprise. Additionally, she is responsible for maturing UCLCC and overseeing the facility operations.
A scientist and strategic leader, Dr. Bibeau’s celebrated career includes 38 years of combined service at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and the University of California.
In addition, Dr. Bibeau was responsible for several strategic infrastructure projects for LLNL, including launching and expanding the Livermore Valley Open Campus (LVOC), and playing a critical role in the design and commissioning of the High-Performance Computing and Innovation Center and Advanced Manufacturing Lab at LVOC. More recently, Dr. Bibeau served as Deputy Associate Director of Operations for the Engineering Directorate, where she focused on expanding and strengthening internal operations; building collaborative partnerships around safety, security and infrastructure; and strategic planning to meet future operations and infrastructure needs of the Engineering Directorate. She also worked with the City of Livermore and surrounding communities to help launch i-GATE, a regional non-profit organization that provides resources and venues for startups and entrepreneurs. She worked collaboratively with UCNL on the UCLCC revitalization project, and leads strategic utilization and programming for that newly renovated Center.
Dr. Bibeau received her Ph.D. in Applied Science from the University of California, Davis and B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Oregon.
