Apply for CCST’s Science Translators Showcase!
The chosen “Science Translators” will participate in a series of virtual policy and communication trainings from CCST and get a chance to explain their research to legislative staffers, agency managers, and senior policy leaders during a networking event at the California State Capitol.
CCST seeks candidates who are eager to learn and practice science communication as well as convey the relevance of their research to public policy questions. The training series and culminating Showcase offer graduate students and postdocs the opportunity to cultivate the skills necessary for science policy advising, meet other innovative researchers, and proudly represent their home institution.
